What to take

Passport required (Ivangorod is a border zone), closed shoes, flashlight.

Day 1: Krasnaya Gorka and Koporye

About an hour to the fort along the coast, then forty minutes to Koporye. In the evening, another hour to Ivangorod.

1. Fort Krasnaya Gorka — A coastal fortress built against the German fleet.
2. Koporye Fortress — A medieval fortress on a cliff, recaptured by Alexander Nevsky.

Day 2: Ivangorod

The fortress opens in the morning. Back to Peterhof about two hours via the A-180 highway.
