⏱ 3–4 h · Car / taxi

An abandoned royal estate where Peter III died, and the springs whose water still feeds the fountains of Peterhof. Atmospheric and almost deserted.

Getting there

By car about 25 minutes south through Nizino. Public transport is inconvenient — better to take a taxi there and back.

What to take

Rubber boots or waterproof shoes, repellent in summer.
