Olgin Pavilion

A Neapolitan tower — a gift for daughter Olga.
On the neighboring island is the Olgin Pavilion, built in 1846–1848 for the daughter of Nicholas I, Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna. It resembles a house somewhere on the shore of the Gulf of Naples: a tower on a base protruding from the water, a flat roof with a platform under a wooden canopy, yellow walls with white bas-reliefs and busts, balconies, and drainpipes in the form of dragons. The pavilion became a wedding gift: that same year Olga married the heir to the Württemberg throne and left for Stuttgart.
Tip: Look for the dragon drainpipes — they are clearly visible from the shore.
