Playing Card Museum

🏛️ Palaces and Parks · Pravlenskaya Street, 2

The only playing card museum in Russia — a rescue in the rain.

A small and unexpected museum next to the Grand Palace — the only one in Russia devoted to playing cards. Here cards are not about gambling but about history: from decks of different eras and countries you can see how design, printing, fashion and even politics changed. The museum is part of the Peterhof Museum-Reserve, it is compact and warm — an ideal place to wait out a St. Petersburg rain.

Tip: Opening hours and tickets — on the website of the Peterhof Museum-Reserve. Nearby is the Benois Family Museum — it is convenient to combine them.
